Dubai's Salik toll system will introduce a new variable pricing structure starting January 31, 2025, to manage traffic flow and ensure smoother transportation. The updated toll charges will apply at different times of the day. During weekdays, peak hours will be from 6 AM to 10 AM and 4 PM to 8 PM, with a toll of Dh6. Off-peak hours, which are from 10 AM to 4 PM and 8 PM to 1 AM, will have a toll of Dh4. On Sundays, a flat fee of Dh4 will apply all day, excluding public holidays and major events. The toll will be free from 1 AM to 6 AM every day.

During Ramadan, weekday peak hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM, and the toll will be Dh6. The off-peak hours, from 7 AM to 9 AM and 5 PM to 2 AM, will be charged Dh4. The free toll time will shift to 2 AM to 7 AM, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays during Ramadan, the toll will remain at Dh4 all day from 7 AM to 2 AM, and the toll will be free from 2 AM to 7 AM.

Salik will not change its existing fee of Dh4 for crossing toll gates within an hour in the same direction. Additionally, a new Variable Parking Tariff policy will be implemented by March 2025. Premium parking spaces will be charged Dh6 per hour during peak hours (8 AM to 10 AM, 4 PM to 8 PM), with other paid parking spaces charged Dh4 per hour. Off-peak parking will remain at the standard rate of Dh4, and nighttime parking from 10 PM to 8 AM, along with Sundays, will be free.

Starting February 2025, a Congestion Pricing Policy will be applied around event zones like the Dubai World Trade Centre. This will include a fee of Dh25 per hour for public parking in these areas.
